Summer at White Mill

The old stone bridge at White Mill, almost hidden by thick summer growth beside the River Stour.

Behind the image

The purple wildflowers caught my attention first, but the old stone bridge gave the scene its anchor. I allowed the plants to fill most of the frame so the bridge felt discovered rather than presented, with the bright blue sky opening above it.
