Eye Bridge

The wooden walkway at Eye Bridge stretching towards the far bank of the River Stour.

Behind the image

The strong lines of the rails drew me straight into the scene. I stood centrally so they met in the distance, while the patches of sunlight and shadow gave the boards their own rhythm. Black and white kept the attention on the timber, texture and symmetry.
